Premise They walk among us. The supernatural. The forsaken. The things that go bump in the night. They're are some that see, some that know. Others are unknowing, blissful in their ignorance...until they get eaten.
Supernatural hot spots exist through out the world. Places of great power, and sometimes great evil, that draws these beings to them. One such place is Mysteria, North Dakota. Once just a plain of land trapped between woods and a lake, the area was discovered by a group of supernaturals that had traveled west at the same time humans did. They set up a settlement there, some wanting to draw on the power there, some wanting to try and release the great evil they felt there, and some to make sure that power wasn't abused and that evil never released.
Over time humans found the settlement and came to live among the supernatural community. Their neighbors were a little weird, there were stories of people getting eaten in the lake, and bad things seemed to happen from time to time. The humans of Mysteria turned their head to such things. After all, ignorance is bliss.
Now the Devil's Door, the Gate to Hell, Portal to the Realm of Hell, whatever you wish to call it, is acting up and drawing attention of those that know. Those that hunt. This is bad for supernaturals of every flavor for not all hunters stop to process whether a supernatural creature is good or not.
And then there's Hell, threatening to consume them all.
The dog days of hell have just begun. Better hold on tight.
